Man Wanted in Connection with Triple Murder Found by Police in London Borough
Hertfordshire, UK — Hertfordshire Constabulary confirmed yesterday evening (10 July) that Kyle Clifford, 26, of Enfield, North London, wanted in connection with a triple murder investigation in Bushey, has been located. The discovery follows a day-long manhunt launched after the tragic incident unfolded in Ashlyn Close.
Police responded to the scene just before 7pm on Tuesday (9 July), where they discovered three women seriously injured. Despite the efforts of emergency responders, all three victims, identified as 61-year-old Carol Hunt, and her daughters aged 28 and 25, were pronounced dead.
Concerns arose over Clifford’s potential possession of a crossbow, prompting heightened caution during the search. However, police confirmed that Clifford was found with injuries and is currently receiving medical treatment. Importantly, he was not shot by police officers.
Detective Inspector Justine Jenkins from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit addressed the ongoing investigation: “This continues to be an incredibly difficult time for the victim’s family, and we would ask that their privacy is respected as they come to terms with what has happened. Formal identification of the victims is yet to take place, and premature naming has caused great upset to the family.”
“After extensive inquiries, the suspect has been located, and no one else is being sought in connection with the investigation at this time,” added Detective Inspector Jenkins.
The police expressed gratitude for the public’s cooperation, with an overwhelming number of calls providing crucial information. They appealed for further assistance and urged against speculation on social media to safeguard the integrity of the case.
